July 2020 ‘Out of the Blue’ shares children’s stories, peeks inside new CBHS building, tracks supply chain management

Middle Tennessee State University’s “Out of the Blue” TV magazine show is soaking up the sun with our July 2020 edition, featuring discussions on special undergrad research in the Department of Theatre and Dance, a new $40 million building uniting three popular College of Behavioral and Health Sciences programs, and how students are preparing for the real world with the Department of Management‘s supply chain management concentration. Join us to hear from:

• Dr. Jette Halladay, an internationally recognized theatre professor in the College of Liberal Arts, who’s helping undergraduate students with a special project, “Story Bandits,” that collects and shares young children’s stories through live performances.

• Dr. Rick Moffett, a Department of Psychology professor and associate director of MTSU’s Center for Organizational and Human Resource Effectiveness, who explains how important the university’s new classroom building, opening this fall north of the Student Union, will be for students and faculty when it brings the Department of Criminal Justice Administration, Department of Social Work and his own department under the same roof.

• Dr. Cliff Welborn of the Department of Management in the Jones College of Business, who discusses the rapid growth and “ready to work” focus of the department’s supply chain management concentration.

You can watch “Out of the Blue,” with host Andrew Oppmann, anytime online and on Murfreesboro cable Channel 9 daily at 7 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and on NewsChannel5+ at 3:30 p.m. Sundays. “Out of the Blue” also is available as iTunes and Google Play podcasts and on other cable outlets in Middle Tennessee, so check local listings.
