“The briefing is an orientation customized for our military-connected students and their families. It will focus on campus resources,” said Hilary Miller, center director.

Miller and her staff are targeting new-to-MTSU student veterans and family members, but it is open to all student vets and their families, she said.

“Our objective is to make them aware of on-campus contacts for all offices that can help them be successful,” Miller said. “We want them to know the center’s staff, be connected to us and meet and know other student veterans.”

Retired Lt. Gen. Keith M. Huber, senior adviser for veterans and leadership initiatives, will speak during the event.

Dress is casual. A free barbecue dinner will be provided in the JUB’s Hazelwood Dining Room

MTSU has more than 300 combined undergraduate and graduate programs.
