“Blue Pride Saturday” at Middle Tennessee State University was a success, featuring games involving the Blue Raider baseball team as well as the men’s and women’s basketball teams.
The special day on March 1 was part of the True Blue Community Initiative, a grass-roots effort started last fall to deepen support for MTSU academics and athletics across all segments of the community. The effort is being spearheaded by the Rev. James McCarroll, pastor of First Baptist Church on East Castle Street in Murfreesboro.
March 1 was also Senior Day for the Blue Raider men’s and women’s basketball programs, and senior players were honored at those games. Check out the video clips below from the day’s activities.
