The Middle Tennessee Athletic Department will be hosting “Blue Raiders on the Move” events this month to thank fans for their support of the university’s move to Conference USA.

The first event is scheduled for Wednesday, July 10, at The Boulevard Bar & Grille, located at the corner of East Main Street and Middle Tennessee Boulevard in Murfreesboro.

A second “Blue Raiders on the Move” event is slated for Tuesday, July 16, at Drake’s Sports Bar, located at 553 Cool Springs Blvd. in Franklin, Tenn.

Both events begin at 5:30 p.m. and run until 7 p.m.

Director of Athletics Chris Massaro, head football coach Rick Stockstill and other athletics staff members and coaches will be on hand at each, and Massaro will speak at 5:45 on the move to C-USA.

The department also will hold similar events on Thursday, July 18, at Murfreesboro’s State Farm Operations Center, 2500 Memorial Blvd., and on Saturday, July 27, at Academy Sports on Genie Lane in Smyrna.

Blue Raider Athletics staffers will be giving away prizes with the giant prize wheel, along with posters, insulated drink covers, sunglasses, pocket schedules and yard signs celebrating the inaugural C-USA session. There will also be an autograph session with Stockstill.

The State Farm and Smyrna events also will feature prizes and giveaways. Blue Raider football players will be on hand, too, and inflatables will be set up for kids.
