MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee State University students from all majors are invited to submit creative work for the Spring 2026 edition of Collage: A Journal of Creative Expression. Submissions will be accepted through Friday, Feb. 6.

As an award-winning, student-run publication, Collage has been part of MTSU’s creative community for decades, showcasing student voices through art, photography, poetry, fiction, essays, music and video. The journal brings together work from across campus, highlighting creativity in various forms.
“Collage exists to celebrate the talent and perspectives of MTSU students,” said Raquel Barbalat, editor-in-chief of the journal. “No matter your major or background, there’s a place for your creativity here.”
Being published in Collage gives students the opportunity to share their work, build professional portfolios, and gain campuswide recognition. The journal is open to all currently enrolled students, with no requirement for prior publishing experience.
In addition to accepting submissions, Collage is also welcoming students interested in joining its staff and gaining hands-on experience in editing, design, and creative publishing.
Students can find submission guidelines and more information by visiting collage.mtsu.edu.
