This rigorous process ensures that the award truly reflects the institution’s commitment to providing an exceptional business education and fostering an enriching environment for its students.”
According to Research.com, their 2024 rankings are compiled based on a deep analysis of numerous data points gathered from reliable sources such as Peterson’s Data; the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System, or IPEDS, within the U.S. Department of Education; and College ScoreCard. These rankings consider various degree programs and regions, focusing on key factors such as overall quality, affordability, popularity, and the time required to complete a degree.
“Jones College strives for excellence in all we do,” said Dean Joyce Heames. “Our rankings and awards are just further evidence of our dedication to high-quality education, delivered at an affordable price, market-driven innovation, and faculty who produce world-class research.”
Since the first business classes were offered in 1939 at MTSU, then the Middle Tennessee State Teachers College, the business programs have continued to grow and thrive. Today, Jones College of Business’s double-accreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, or AACSB, puts the college in the top 1.4% of business colleges and schools in the world.
