An MTSU English major of Chinese heritage, who will study in England after winning an important study-abroad scholarship, was a guest on a recent edition of the “MTSU On the Record” radio program.
Host Gina Logue’s interview with MTSU senior Lusha Li first aired Dec. 7 on WMOT-FM (89.5 and www.wmot.org ). You can listen to their conversation below.
Li was one of seven students from colleges across the southeastern United States to win a Storyteller Scholarship from the Cooperative Center for Study Abroad, a nonprofit consortium.
She plans to leave Murfreesboro Dec. 24 for London, where she will participate in the London Arts & Literature Program during the spring 2016 semester.
“I’m going to set up a blog, and I will post pictures and write my daily feelings and show some videos to show what will happen to me every day in England,” said Li.
“The one interesting thing I really want to do is focus on culture shock.”
