MTSU closes Jan. 20 for MLK holiday; spring semester begins Jan. 21

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee State University will be closed Monday, Jan. 20, in observance of the federal Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.

All offices will reopen at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, and MTSU spring semester classes will begin that day.

Middle Tennessee State University’s popular Campus Recreation Center facilities in the Health, Wellness and Recreation Center at 1848 Blue Raider Drive in Murfreesboro, Tenn., will be open for students to use from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday through Monday, Jan. 18-20. Holiday weekend openings/closings will include:

• Campus Recreation Center  rec facilities open from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday through Monday, Jan. 18-20.

• James E. Walker Library  closed Jan. 18-20.

• Student Union — closed Jan. 18-20.
