Mitchell-Neilson Primary and Elementary Schools in Murfreesboro are teaming with MTSU to instill the importance of college in students at a very young age. The program, which is implemented through the College of Behavioral and Health Science’s Collaborative Learning and Leadership Institute, is designed to help youngsters make the connection between classroom learning and real life. MTSU students interact with the kids, gaining valuable experience and insight while serving as role models for the children.
