Middle Tennessee State University alumni, family and friends are invited to attend the Saturday, July 29, “MTSU Night at the Nashville Sounds” event.
Gates will open at 6:05 p.m. — one hour before the first pitch — as the Sounds entertain the Salt Lake Bees in the Pacific Coast League baseball game at First Tennessee Park in Nashville.
The Sounds are the Triple-A affiliate of Major League Baseball’s Oakland Athletics, and Salt Lake is the affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels.
For more on the Sounds and driving directions to First Tennessee Park, visit the team’s website here.
The event is an annual gathering of alumni and friends of the university during a Sounds game. The MTSU Office of Alumni Relations hosts the outing.
The cost is $30 per person. This includes a game ticket and buffet meal. MTSU alumni, family and friends will gather in the right field picnic area, where Blue Raider faithful can mix and mingle near the iconic guitar scoreboard and seating area.
The events sold out in 2015 and 2016. Make your reservations by visiting www.mtalumni.com and click on the Sounds featured image or call 615-898-2922.
