Middle Tennessee State University will be closed from Friday, Dec. 22, through Monday, Jan. 1, 2024, for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.
Most business offices will be closed during this time and services will be very limited.
MTSU will reopen Tuesday, Jan. 2, with offices and departments open from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Undergraduate and graduate students taking online Winter Session classes from Wednesday, Dec. 20, to Thursday, Jan. 11, will follow their faculty members’ daily guidelines. There will be no Winter Session classes Sunday and Monday, Dec. 24-25, and Monday, Jan. 1, for a holiday break.
Holiday hours of operation for some buildings, including:
• Student Union — open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20, and Thursday, Dec. 21; closed Dec. 22 through Jan. 1.
• James E. Walker Library — open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Dec. 20-21; and closed Dec. 22 through Jan. 1. Services available during this time include electronic books, articles and streaming videos available 24/7 and Ask Us!
• Campus Recreation Center — facility closed from Dec. 20 through Jan. 1; offices will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Dec. 18 to Dec. 21; closed from Dec. 22 through Jan. 1.
• Student Health Services — open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 20; open from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Dec. 21; and closed Dec. 22 through Jan. 1.
• MTSU Campus Pharmacy — open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 20-21, with drive-thru open until 4:30 p.m. both days; and closed Dec. 22 through Jan. 1. The pharmacy closes from noon to 1 p.m. for lunch.
Other MTSU assistance available during this time include Online tutoring services, ITD Help Desk Hours and the MT One Stop Call Center, accessible from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Dec. 26-29 for limited Financial Aid and Business Office questions only, as the MT One Stop will be closed all week).
