“Murfreesboro Storytellers” host and MTSU administrator John Hood had the pleasure of talking with MTSU President Sidney A McPhee about economics, recruiting, and the various programs MTSU has come to offer on the latest episode of the CityTV program.
The August 2017 episode of “Murfreesboro Storytellers” takes place at MTSU and was shot in the Strobel Lobby between the Davis Science Building and Wiser-Patten Science Hall.
According to a city of Murfreesboro news release, the August episode features:
- Hood, director of community engagement and support at MTSU, and McPhee discuss the impact of MTSU’s presence in Murfreesboro.
- McPhee gives some insight into the “True Blue Tour,” a program that tours around the major areas of Tennessee to perform informational sessions about MTSU.
- McPhee also talks about MTSU’s unique and in-demand programs, such as their newest program in fermentation sciences and mechatronics engineering.
“Storytellers” can also be seen on CityTV at 9:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Sundays; 7:30 p.m. Mondays, 9:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 9:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturdays.
