The August 2019 edition of the “Out of the Blue” television magazine show from Middle Tennessee State University, available to watch above, features the revival of the “Blue Zoo” student pep group, the latest musical research by the Center for Popular Music and top stories in the latest edition of MTSU Magazine.
Guests on this edition include:
• Chelsea Floyd, assistant athletic director for marketing and fan engagement, and Kobe Hermann, an MTSU senior and Blue Zoo president, who discuss the Blue Zoo’s revival and its partnership with Blue Raider Athletics, which is introducing a number of enhancements to the football game day experience.
• Dr. Greg Reish, director of the Center for Popular Music at MTSU, who discusses the wealth of research archives housed at the CPM inside the Bragg Media and Entertainment Building, the public programming sponsored and hosted by the center, and a recent grant from the Grammy Museum.
• Drew Ruble, senior editor for university publications, who highlights some of the top feature stories in the latest issue of MTSU Magazine, the biannual publication distributed to the university’s 120,00-plus alumni.
