On this episode of “Out of the Blue,” we take a closer look at Middle Tennessee State University’s new Veterans and Military Family Center.
The 2,600-square-foot, $329,000 center is a one-stop-shop for MTSU’s approximately 1,000 student veterans and family members. We’ll talk with retired U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Keith Huber, MTSU’s senior adviser for veterans and leadership initiatives, about the success of student veterans and their family members. We’ll also take a tour of the new center with the director, Dr. Hilary Miller, and hear from those who call it home: the university’s soldier-scholars.
