On the October 2019 edition of “Out of the Blue” television magazine from Middle Tennessee State University, host Andrew Oppmann and his guests share details about plans for the Student Government Association for the academic year, tremendous experiential opportunities for our video and film production students, and the upcoming homecoming celebration.
Guests on this edition include:
• MTSU senior Delanie McDonald, president of the Student Government Association, talks about the organization’s plans for this school year and SGA’s involvement with MTSU’s homecoming festivities this month.
• Bob Gordon, an associate professor in MTSU’s Department of Media Arts, discusses the numerous hands-on opportunities students have to enhance their video production skills in real-world working environments. Opportunities include Bonnaroo, Nashville Fashion Week and MTSU sporting events for ESPN+.
• Ginger Freeman and Rhonda King, director and assistant director of the MTSU Office of Alumni Relations, break down this month’s homecoming celebration. Their topics include the new parade route and the many events planned for homecoming week, culminating in the big day Saturday, Oct. 29.
