Nine MTSU undergraduate students and more than 40 university students altogether recently carried their research to the Tennessee State Capitol in Nashville.
The occasion marked the 10th year MTSU, fellow Tennessee Board of Regents institutions and those from the University of Tennessee system converged on the capitol for the Posters at the Capitol Feb. 25.
In addition to MTSU, the other participating TBR schools included Austin Peay, Tennessee State University, Tennessee Tech and the University of Memphis. Because of inclement weather, the University of Tennessee-Martin was the lone UT system school attending.
The undergraduate researchers made their posters and themselves available to the legislators and other visitors in the Legislative Plaza that day, and they scheduled individual and group meetings with their state senators and representatives.
