Free application incentive kicks off first of two fall True Blue Preview events at MTSU

Middle Tennessee State University holds the first of two in-person fall True Blue Preview events Saturday, Sept. 25 — this one with an added incentive of applying for free.

For the first time, MTSU Admissions is fully participating in a statewide “#WhyApply” initiative waiving the application fee until 11:55 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26, said Linda Olsen, undergraduate admissions director.

“Students who have not yet applied can sit down with our staff Saturday and complete the application with no fee,” said Olsen. The free offer ends just before midnight Sunday.

The second fall True Blue Preview day will be Saturday, Nov. 6. Preview events are the university’s signature opportunity for students and parents to learn more about academic programs and outstanding value. The preview events are free. To learn more, visit www.mtsu.edu/rsvp.

True Blue Previews are a way for prospective students to visit the campus, take extended tours led by student guides, learn about academic departments and student services, student organizations and meet faculty and staff from academic areas and Student Affairs.
