Virtual MTSU ‘Roll Call’ Veteran Speakers’ Series features VA Whole Health

Charlie Noel will discuss VA Whole Health in next week’s Roll Call MTSU Veteran Speaker Series.

Noel, chief of the Whole Health System of Care at Tennessee Valley Healthcare System, will talk about an array of topics for veterans and military-connected individuals, starting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 9. To register for the Zoom event, visit https://www.mtsu.edu/military/speaker-series.

Noel will likely cover chiropractic care, acupuncture, massage, meditation, yoga, tai chi, biofeedback, guided imagery and hypnosis during the talk.

A social worker by trade, Noel graduated from Duke University’s Leadership in Integrative Healthcare Fellowship. He has been working in Whole Health since 2017. He is the VA Mid-South Healthcare Network Whole Health education coordinator.

Attendees can ask questions and learn about services available for Veterans and their families.

“We try and make it (monthly Roll Call talks) interesting for the veterans who are participating,” said Lori Ogden, director of development and external affairs for the Daniels Center. “Our speakers give out a lot of great information that people need to know about.”

All of the sessions are virtual and on Tuesdays. The April 13 session will be a panel discussion on VA cemeteries.

Other Roll Call dates for 2021 include June 8, July 13, Sept. 14, Oct. 5 and Nov. 9..
