MTSU students, faculty on spring break March 5-9

MTSU students, faculty on spring break March 5-9

MTSU students and faculty will be on spring break March 5-9, said Dr. John Omachonu, vice provost for acadamic affairs. Classes will resume Monday, March 12.

Students who have Saturday classes are expected to attend their March 3 classes, Omachonu added.

MTSU will be open March 5-9. All University business offices, academic departments, James Union Building and Keathley University Center will be open from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. No campus tours will be given during the week.

The JUB will be closed March 3-4 and March 10-11. KUC operating hours will be 7 a.m.-8 p.m. March 2 and 7 a.m.-5 p.m. March 3 and March 10. The KUC will be closed March 4 and open from 4 until 11 p.m. March 11.

The Student Health, Wellness and Recreation Center will be closed March 3-10 and will reopen at 2 p.m. March 11. The Campus Pharmacy will be open for its regular 8 a.m.-4 p.m. hours March 5-9, with the exception of a lunch hour from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each day. The pharmacy drive-through will be open until 4:30 p.m.

The James E. Walker Library will be open daily from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. It will be closed March 4 and March 10.

Phillips Bookstore will be open from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. March 5-9.

McCallie Dining Hall will be open from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. March 3-10 and 9 a.m.-7 p.m. March 11. All other dining facilities will be closed for most of spring break.
