With the worst of winter weather behind them, MTSU students and faculty will be on spring break Monday through Saturday, March 9-14, said Dr. John Omachonu, vice provost for academic affairs.
Spring semester classes will resume Monday, March 16.
MTSU will be open March 9-14. All university business offices and academic departments will be open from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. each day.
The Student Union will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. March 9-13, closed March 14 and open from 4 to 10 p.m. Sunday, March 15.
Phillips Bookstore, located in the Student Union, will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 9-13 and closed March 14-15.
Hours of operation for the James E. Walker Library are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. March 9-13, closed March 14, and open from 1 p.m. March 15 until 2 a.m. Monday, March 16. Visit http://library.mtsu.edu/hours.php for all scheduled hours of operation.
Workout facilities at MTSU’s Student Health, Wellness and Recreation Center will be closed March 9-14, but the Campus Recreation offices will be open for regular operations from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. March 9-13. In preparation for Boot Camp Session B starting March 16, the Rec Center will be offering an outdoor Spring Break Boot Camp starting at noon Tuesday and Thursday, March 10 and March 12; for more information, visit www.mtsu.edu/camprec.
Student Health Services and the Campus Pharmacy, both located in the Recreation Center, will be open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. March 10-14. The pharmacy closes weekdays from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for lunch, but its drive-thru remains open until 4:30 p.m. daily.
