The keys to starting a small business and trying to keep it alive were the topics of a recent “MTSU On the Record” radio program.
You can listen here from host Gina Logue’s interview with Doug Tatum, holder of the Wright Chair of Entrepreneurship, on WMOT-FM (89.5 and www.wmot.org).
Tatum was the founding partner and chairman emeritus of Tatum LLC, which grew into the largest executive services consulting firm in the United States with more than 1,000 employees and professionals in 30 offices. He was chairman and CEO for 17 years.
In 2010, Tatum LLC merged with Spherion Group. Today, in addition to his job as an assistant professor at MTSU, Tatum is chairman and CEO of The Co-Investment Partnership, a private equity firm for Tatum LLC partners and employees.
