Due to coronavirus concerns, the Middle Tennessee State University Board of Trustees will hold its Tuesday, March 17, committee meetings via teleconference only.
The meetings will begin at 9 a.m. and will proceed without interruption in the order outlined below. Anyone wishing to listen to the meetings may dial in at 615-898-4668 and use conference code 9472394.
• Academic Affairs, Student Life, and Athletics Committee: Agenda items include approval of minutes; recommendations concerning revisions to policies, revisions to admissions requirements for dual enrollment, revisions to undergraduate degree requirements and new academic degree programs; and, information on academic actions (winter session), annual report of academic program actions, and an update on performance metrics dashboard.
• Finance and Personnel Committee: Agenda items include approval of minutes; recommendations concerning capital disclosures and the new MTSU Airport Master Plan; and, information concerning compensation plan, property acquisitions, 2020-21 Governor’s budget, composite financial index and federal funds report and plan of potential reductions.
• Executive and Governance Committee: Agenda items include approval of minutes; and, recommendation concerning the institutional mission/mission profile, president’s evaluation and compensation, and new board policy on Trustee Emeritus status.
Audit and Compliance Committee: Agenda items include approval of minutes; and, information concerning reports on conflict of interest disclosures and public records compliance for 2019; president’s statement of disclosure of interests; results of external reviews; quarterly internal audit reports, follow-up items from prior discussions; and audits and investigations.
