The Rutherford and Cannon County Bar Association is offering free consultation for MTSU student veterans and their families Saturday, March 16, at MTSU.
The consultation with a licensed attorney will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Charlie and Hazel Daniels Veterans and Military Family Center, Room 124, in Keathley University Center. A searchable campus parking map is available at http://tinyurl.com/MTParkingMap.
To schedule an appointment, contact Shane Smith by email at Shane.Smith@mtsu.edu. Students must have an appointment.
In his role, Smith assists student veterans and any MTSU students in all aspects of career decision-making and job search processes with various military-friendly companies.
All areas of legal assistance will be available including wills and estate planning, trusts, family and criminal law, VA benefits, labor/employment issues and more.
The clinic is sponsored by the bar association and the veterans center.
MTSU has more than 300 combined undergraduate and graduate programs.
