The MTSU Faculty Woodwind Quartet, featuring flutist Deanna Little, oboist Laura Ann Ross, clarinetist Todd Waldecker and bassoonist Gil Perel, will perform in a free public concert at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9.
The concert, which will include pieces for quartet, trio and duo, will be held in Hinton Hall inside MTSU’s Wright Music Building.
Performances will include “Trois Pièces Pour une Musique de Nuit” by Eugène Bozza, “Sonatine for Oboe and Bassoon” by André Jolivet, “Divertimento for Flute, Oboe, and Clarinet by Malcolm Arnold, “Fragments” by Robert Muczynski and “Quatour” by Jean Françaix.
“It will be an entertaining concert that would be of particular interest to woodwind players,” said Little, a professor of flute in MTSU’s School of Music.
