MTSU and the Civil Air Patrol’s Tennessee Wing have agreed to partner in aerospace education for state high school students in the U.S. Air Force auxiliary’s cadet program.
MTSU and Civil Air Patrol officials signed a Memorandum of Agreement during a signing ceremony Wednesday, May 7, in the President’s Executive Conference Room inside the university’s Student Union.
The agreement, signed by MTSU President Sidney A. McPhee and Tennessee Wing Commander Col. Bill Lane, puts into play the educational resources of the university’s Department of Aerospace and the College of Basic and Applied Sciences to engage cadets in science and technology pursuits.
