A comprehensive effort to pinpoint Rutherford County’s most pressing needs and concerns was the topic of a recent “MTSU On the Record” radio program.
Host Gina Logue’s interview with United Way spokeswoman Meagan Flippin and Dr. Beverly Burke, MTSU associate professor of psychology, aired on WMOT- FM (89.5 and www.wmot.org). You can listen to the program here.
Flippin and Burke are involved with the Community Assessment Project, a joint endeavor between United Way, the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce and MTSU’s Center for Organizational and Human Resources Effectiveness.
The project will gather input from various sectors of the county’s population to guide leaders in targeting areas to improve residents’ quality of life.
