MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee State University’s Jones College of Business is offering a variety of cutting-edge courses Fall 2024 Executive Education program tailored to equip professionals with essential skills in today’s competitive business environment.
Under the leadership of newly appointed Director of Executive Education Carly Escue, the semester’s theme, “Skill Up to Level Up,” reflects a commitment to career advancement and organizational growth.
“Our fall 2024 program is designed to bring professionals to campus to fully engage with our vibrant community and take advantage of the unique benefits that an on-campus learning environment provides,” said Escue. “With a selection of courses that span key areas in business, we’re excited to help participants enhance their skills and achieve their professional goals.”
All of the following courses are open to the public this fall:
- Engaging and Retaining the Next Generation Workforce (Sept. 27) Learn strategies to engage and retain younger employees, fostering a multigenerational workforce.
- Masterclass in Professional Selling (Oct. 1-Nov. 5) Develop advanced sales techniques and strategies to enhance your sales performance and drive business growth.
- Social First: A Masterclass in Modern Social Media (Oct. 18) Gain essential skills in social media marketing and web analytics to enhance your brand’s online presence.
- Elevating Customer Experience: Harnessing Data and Creativity (Oct. 22) Master advanced survey techniques and creative strategies to improve customer satisfaction.
- The Leadership Challenge: Empowering New Leaders (Oct. 22-23) Develop essential leadership skills grounded in the renowned Leadership Challenge framework.
- AI for Business Managers: Boosting Productivity and Future Impact on Business (Oct. 24) Explore the practical applications of AI in business to drive productivity and innovation.
- Church Leadership in a Changing World (Oct. 29) Equip yourself with the tools to lead and manage change in religious and educational institutions.
- Mastering Data Analysis and Visualization with Excel, Power BI, and Tableau (Oct. 31-Nov. 1) Learn to turn raw data into actionable insights using powerful data analysis and visualization tools.
- Unlocking Business Potential with Location Analytics (Nov. 7) Discover how spatial data can optimize business operations and marketing strategies.
Participants will benefit from the “rich, on-campus experience” that includes networking opportunities, engaging discussions with industry experts, and perks like free parking and catered lunches during full-day workshops, Escue said.
This semester, participants can work toward Professional Certificates in Business Intelligence, Strategic Marketing, and Executive Leadership by completing qualifying courses. Group and corporate rates are also available, as well as customized programs for local businesses and nonprofit organizations.
