MTSU capped off its fall 2012 True Blue Experience and preview days on Nov. 16, when prospective students and their families visited the university.
On Friday and throughout the fall, high school and transfer students and their families participated in the experience of a campus visit.
Friday’s True Blue Experience day was completely full, with 73 prospective students attending. The students and their families not only toured campus facilities, but they also met with academic administrators and staff who could answer all their questions about all the educational benefits, financial aid, admissions policies, housing and more.
In all, 436 students attended either a True Blue Experience day (146 altogether) or the preview day (290), said Rob Patterson, an admissions assistant director. Families and friends also attended on those days.
Prospect students need to apply by Saturday, Dec. 1, for first priority for freshman academic scholarships, including the prestigious Buchanan Fellowship for top scholars.
