Dr. Charles F. Beauchamp, an assistant professor in the Department of Economics and Finance, was the subject of a Q-and-A article by writer Chris Kissell, “Lower Costs Drive Credit Union Growth,” which was published at www.bankrate.com on April 1. (You can read the article here.)

In the article, Beauchamp provides a brief history of credit unions in the context of the rising numbers of clients who are leaving banks for credit unions.
