MTSU Out of the Blue: July 2012

At the lake, at the barbecue, in the pool or in the cool, you can enjoy the July 2012 edition of MTSU’s monthly video magazine, “Out of the Blue,” all month long! This month includes features on:

* the special Star Party at MTSU’s Naked-Eye Observatory for the amazing transit of Venus;

* a couple of fascinating campus visitors, Dr. Bill Bass and the Rev. Becca Stephens;

* an experimental vehicle that’s burning up the dirt track this summer, and a local supporter who’s helping keep the program’s engines running;

* a focus on features in the new MTSU Magazine, including a follow-up on the PBS pledge-drive coverage of the “Pa’s Fiddle” music special;

* teachers-in-training helping to paint the town red, and blue and green and yellow, with students at a neighboring community center, and more!

You can watch the new “Out of the Blue” above anytime, or watch it on Murfreesboro cable Channel 9 Monday through Sunday at 7 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. and on NewsChannel5+ Sundays at 1:30 p.m. It’s also available on other cable outlets in middle Tennessee, so check local listings.
