MTSU’s marketing and communications team recognized with 35 industry awards for promotion work

Middle Tennessee State University’s Division of Marketing and Communications again gained recognition from several industry and higher education professional organizations with numerous awards for excellence in its promotional work on behalf of the university.

The division captured 35 awards in the most recent rounds of industry recognitions at the national, regional and state levels. Honors included five national Telly Awards for television and video excellence, one national award from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education, or CASE, and a litany of regional awards.

“It’s gratifying to see the diversity of awards we received — from video/multimedia to graphic design, from long-form feature writing and media relations campaigns to photography and social media,” said Andrew Oppmann, MTSU vice president for marketing and communications.

“It’s truly a team effort that shows the depth of talent within our division and the hard work put forth to share our university’s True Blue story to current and prospective students and their families as well as our loyal alumni and supporters are over the world.”
