Military training is subject of recent ‘MTSU On the Record’

Military science and training was the topic of a recent edition of “MTSU On the Record” on WMOT-FM (89.5 and www.wmot.org).

Host Gina Logue’s interview with Lt. Col. Joel Miller, chair of MTSU’s Department of Military Science, aired Dec. 24 and 30; you can listen to the broadcast here.

Miller earned a bachelor’s degree in history from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and a master’s degree in history from Tulane University. He has served at Fort Carson, Colo.; in Bosnia; at Fort Stewart, Ga.; in Baghdad, Iraq; and in Hawaii.

Miller’s awards include the Bronze Star, the Meritorious Service Medal and the Army Commendation Medal.
