MTSU will be closed from Tuesday, Dec. 24, through Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2020, for the winter holidays, university officials announced.

The university will reopen at 8 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, and resume its normal business hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Students and faculty are on winter break. Spring 2019 semester classes will begin Tuesday, Jan. 21.

The Campus Recreation Center fitness center and indoor pool are closed through Jan. 2. Offices will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 17-20 and Dec. 23.

During the holiday break, in a college basketball doubleheader in Murphy Center, the MTSU Lady Raiders play Texas Christian University at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 29, followed at 3:30 p.m. by the Blue Raider men hosting Rhode Island.

MTSU has more than 300 combined undergraduate and graduate programs.
