The temperatures are cooler and foliage at MTSU is changing colors with the new season! The October 2012 edition of the university’s monthly video magazine, “Out of the Blue,” is ready to warm you up with features on:
- a unique Constitution Day naturalization ceremony that saw three MTSU students join almost 300 other immigrants to become U.S. citizens;
- new deans joining the College of Basic and Applied Sciences and the James E. Walker Library;
- new scientific-research recognition thanks to a partnership with Oak Ridge Associated Universities;
- a statewide live-TV “surprise party” for successful K-12 schools helmed by MTSU Audio-Visual Services;
- a rabbi and a reverend finding common ground on the Ten Commandments;
- more than 400 middle- and high-school girls expanding their horizons in math and science, and more!
You can watch the new “Out of the Blue” above anytime, or watch it on Murfreesboro cable Channel 9 Monday through Sunday at 7 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. and on NewsChannel5+ Sundays at 1:30 p.m. It’s also available on other cable outlets in middle Tennessee, so check local listings.
