The March 2019 edition of the “Out of the Blue” television magazine show from Middle Tennessee State University, available to watch above, features conversations on the work of finding work by MTSU’s Career Development Center, how dollars match up with documentation in the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, and the myriad ways students are honing their skills in the University Writing Center. Join us to hear from:
• Dusty Doddridge, interim director of the Career Development Center, who discusses how this resource connects our students and new graduates to potential employers and jobs.
• Jeffry Porter, director of the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, who explains how the office stimulates research and creative activities by linking our faculty and students with grants and other funding sources.
• Dr. Erica Cirillo-McCarthy, University Writing Center director and an assistant professor in the Department of English, who discusses how they help students of all experiences, backgrounds and skill levels become more capable and confident in their writing.
