MTSU Out of the Blue: May 2017

The May 2017 edition of the “Out of the Blue” television magazine program from Middle Tennessee State University, available to watch above, features the following:

• A chat with Dr. Lana Seivers, dean of the College of Education, on MTSU’s century-long tradition as a leader in teacher preparation.

•  A visit with Drs. Rebekka King and Jenna Gray-Hildenbrand, two assistant professors leading MTSU’s new Religious Studies major, which debuts this fall, to explain how it’s poised to become another of the university’s signature programs.

• News about exciting changes in the College of Liberal Arts and an introduction to the interim dean, Dr. Karen Petersen.

Along with viewing online anytime, you can watch “Out of the Blue,” with host Andrew Oppmann, on Murfreesboro cable Channel 9 daily at 7 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and on NewsChannel5+ at 3:30 p.m. Sundays. “Out of the Blue” also is available as iTunes and Google Play podcasts and on other cable outlets in Middle Tennessee, so check local listings.
