The September 2018 edition of the “Out of the Blue” television magazine show from Middle Tennessee State University, available to watch above, features conversations about the university’s new “True Blue Voter Initiative,” the role of the Faculty Senate on campus, and MTSU’s first two-term female student government president with:
• Rutherford County elections administrator Alan Farley, who’s part of the local government-university team making voter registration more convenient for MTSU students who are ready to exercise their civic duty.
• Dr. Pippa Holloway, professor of history and the 2018-19 MTSU Faculty Senate president, who’s leading a campuswide group of faculty elected by their colleges and departments to promote and implement academic policies to help the university community.
• Courtney Brandon, elected last spring to the 2018-19 academic year — her second — as MTSU’s Student Government Association president. Brandon is the first woman, and only the second student, in MTSU’s history to serve consecutive terms as SGA president.
