As timely events with ageless themes dominate the headlines, MTSU is sponsoring virtual panel discussions to help shed more light on the issues.
Dr. Mary Evins, research professor of history and coordinator of the American Democracy Project‘s MTSU chapter, moderated the first of these discussions, “The Trump Impeachment: Round 2,” held Monday, Feb. 8.
The hourlong webinar is available on video in its entirety above. Panelists included:
• Dr. John Vile, dean of the University Honors College and an accomplished scholar of the U.S. Constitution.
• Dr. Michael Federici, chair of MTSU’s Department of Political Science and International Relations, whose research areas include American politics, Constitutional law, political theory and American political thought.
• Lynda Williams, a professor in the Department of Criminal Justice Administration and former deputy assistant director of the Office of Human Resources of the U.S. Secret Service.
