This year’s event features keynote speaker Jessica Stollings-Holder, a national speaker, trainer, author, and coach who helps teams recognize how their diverse perspectives fuel success.

Her talk, “See Differences Differently: How to Bring Together Different Points of View” will be followed with an interactive session, “Team Chemistry: School Yourself in the Elements of Collaboration.”

Jones College of Business Dean Joyce Heames said the college has worked hard to find sponsors to be able to provide the summit, which is beneficial to business leaders from for-profit and nonprofit organizations to attend.

“Personal development as leaders is essential to the forward movement and growth of our businesses, whatever they may be,” Heames said. “I happen to be in the field of academics. As a long-standing dean, I still find it important to attend events like this, as it keeps me inspired and open to new ideas. The activities led by Jessica Stollings-Holder will approach team building and collaboration in a unique and impactful way.”

According to her website, Stollings-Holder has studied how to bridge gaps across generations for more than a decade, serving more than 100 clients in 32 states and delivering 400 keynotes and training events. Her research findings have been spotlighted in trade publications serving business, education and human-resources professionals, including SHRM, Ragan/PR Daily and The Chronicle of Higher Education.

Book signing to follow with complimentary copies of Jessica’s latest book, “ReGenerate: A Guide to Connect Generations!”
