These classes feature practices designed to “activate your body, mind, and energy in a way that promotes holistic health and well-being,” said Dr. Shelley Thomas, director of CALA.

The skills learned in the class can be practiced at home and elsewhere, meaning students can continue mental and physical development as a means of bringing balance and focus into their lives.

Classes are offered on weekends this fall and taught by an instructor trained and certified in India.

The full yoga lineup, information about the instructor, and comments about the classes can be found at the CALA “See Our Classes” link at www.mtsu.edu/cala. Details on specific classes are available by clicking on each class name.

Classes will be held in the Paul W. Martin Sr. Honors Building.
