‘Collage: A Journal of Creative Expression’ invites faculty, staff, alumni submissions

The staff of MTSU‘s arts magazine, “Collage,” is accepting submissions from all Middle Tennessee State University faculty and alumni for the spring 2020 edition of the journal.

"Collage" logoSince 1968, “Collage: A Journal of Creative Expression” has been a student-produced, biannual magazine of creative arts. Submissions are accepted year-round and are reviewed and selected by the “Collage” editorial staff. It is housed in the University Honors College.

While the journal primarily focuses on student work, all MTSU faculty, staff and alumni are encouraged to submit their best creative works to “Collage.” This includes poetry, prose, photography, paintings, short plays, digital drawings, short films, songs and art of any medium.

“Allowing faculty, staff and alumni submissions is a great way to showcase the talent of those who have gone through the MTSU programs and the talent of those who guide our students to success,” Editor-in-Chief Anthony Czelusniak said. “It’s important that we give them a bit of the spotlight too.”

To submit work to “Collage,” visit www.mtsu.edu/collage/submit.php. Up to four submissions are allowed per person. The submission deadline is midnight Monday, Feb. 10.

With more than 20 awards, “Collage” is the premier magazine for students to exhibit their creative abilities. For more information, visit www.mtsu.edu/collage.
