MTSU grad students produce ‘Daughter’ movie (VIDEO)

MTSU graduate students Susan Nogues and Miranda Megill produced and directed a full-length movie for a project in the Recording Arts and Technologies program.

The motion picture, entitled “Daughter,” is about discovering a lost past. The movie was filmed mostly in Murfreesboro and features a strong female protagonist, Kate Reynolds, played by Amanda Dove.

Nogues graduated in May with a Master of Fine Arts degree and has since returned to her native California to begin a filmmaking career. Megill will finish her studies this fall.

The duo plans to enter their work in film festivals beginning this fall. Watch a video about the project below.
