MTSU to close May 26 for Memorial Day holiday

MTSU will be closed Monday, May 26, for the Memorial Day holiday. All offices will be closed and no summer term classes will be held.

U.S. flag flying with "holiday closings" text superimposedOffices will reopen at 8 a.m. Tuesday, May 27. All summer term classes will resume that day at their regular times.

Memorial Day weekend hours of operation for specific buildings and venues are as follows:

• The James E. Walker Library will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, May 23, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 24, and closed Sunday and Monday. It will reopen at 7 a.m. May 27.

• The Campus Recreation Center will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. May 23 and closed May 24-26. It will reopen at 6:30 a.m. May 27.

• MTSU Student Health Services, located in the Student Health, Wellness and Recreation Center, will be open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 23 and closed May 24-26. The office will reopen at 8 a.m. May 27.

• MTSU’s Campus Pharmacy, also located in the Student Health, Wellness and Recreation Center, will be open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 23 and closed May 24-26. The drive-thru window will be open until 4:30 p.m. May 23. The pharmacy and drive-thru will reopen at 8 a.m. May 27.

• The Student Union will be open 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. May 23 and noon-6 p.m. May 24-26. It will open at 7:30 a.m. May 27.

• The Keathley University Center will be open 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. May 23 and closed May 24-26. It will reopen at 7:30 a.m. May 27.

• The James Union Building will be open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. May 23 and closed May 24-26. It will reopen at 8 a.m. May 27.
