MTSU closes Nov. 25-26 for Thanksgiving; reopens Nov. 29

MTSU will be closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 25-26, for the Thanksgiving holiday. All business offices will be closed.

No classes will be held Wednesday, Nov. 24, through Saturday, Nov. 27, giving students and faculty additional days off.

MTSU will reopen at 8 a.m. Monday, Nov. 29.

The James E. Walker Library will reopen at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 28, and close at 2 a.m. Monday.

The Health, Wellness and Recreation Center will be open from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, then closed until Monday.

For students staying on campus during the break, a free, pre-packaged Thanksgiving dinner will be available from 1 to 3 p.m. Nov. 25 at the Scarlett Commons Clubhouse. The meal is provided by MTSU Housing and Residential Life and the MTSU Parent and Family Association.

The last day of fall semester classes will be Wednesday, Dec. 1. Students will have a study day Thursday, Dec. 2, with no classes, exams or mandatory meetings.

Final exams for students and faculty will be Friday, Dec. 3, through Thursday, Dec. 9. Fall commencement in Murphy Center will be Saturday, Dec. 11.
