MTSU closes July 4 for Independence Day holiday; summer classes resume July 5

MTSU will be closed Tuesday, July 4, in observance of the July 4th national holiday. No classes will be held and all offices will be closed.

Summer session classes will resume Wednesday, July 5, and all business offices and departments will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. that day.

July 4 closures will include all academic buildings, the Student UnionJames Union BuildingCope Administration BuildingKeathley University Center and Health, Wellness and Recreation Center.

Leading up to the holiday:

• The James E. Walker Library will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 1; open from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 2; open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, July 3; and closed July 4.

• For Aramark/campus dining, visit https://mtsu.campusdish.com to learn which locations will be open and hours of operation.
