MTSU Out of the Blue: April 2017

The April 2017 edition of the “Out of the Blue” television magazine program from Middle Tennessee State University, available to watch above, features:

• A conversation with Dr. Michael Sherr, the new chairman of MTSU’s Department of Social Work, about their fascinating and useful degree programs.

• A visit with Dr. Sherry King, principal of Homer Pittard Campus School, a unique elementary school that operates on the MTSU campus and also serves as a learning laboratory for students in our College of Education who want to become teachers.

• A celebration of the career of Dr. Gloria Bonner, whose March retirement showcased her legacy of leadership, mentorship and service as both an educator and community liaison for the university.

Along with viewing online anytime, you can watch “Out of the Blue,” with host Andrew Oppmann, on Murfreesboro cable Channel 9 daily at 7 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and on NewsChannel5+ at 3:30 p.m. Sundays. “Out of the Blue” also is available as iTunes and Google Play podcasts and on other cable outlets in Middle Tennessee, so check local listings.
