The August 2022 edition of Middle Tennessee State University‘s “Out of the Blue” TV magazine show features the new Student Government Association president discussing her plans for the coming year, an archivist from the Albert Gore Research Center discussing the 50th anniversary of Murphy Center, and a longtime MTSU Athletics administrator reflecting on the 50th anniversary of Title IX and its impact on her career and women’s athletics.

• Donna Baker, university archivist at the Albert Gore Research Center, who talks about the history of “The Glass House,” Charles M. “Bubber” Murphy Center, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
• Diane Turnham, senior associate athletic director for MTSU Athletics, who reflects on the impact of Title IX, the federal civil-rights law which also is a half-century old this year, and its impact on her career and women’s collegiate athletics.
