January 2020 ‘Out of the Blue’ checks out state theater confab, new public-health master’s degree, state Air Guard pact

Middle Tennessee State University‘s “Out of the Blue” TV magazine show strides into a new year with its January 2020 edition, featuring conversations about a statewide high school theater conference, our new Master of Public Health degree, and a community- and student-oriented health partnership with the Tennessee Air National Guard. Join us to hear from:

John Underwood, production manager for the Department of Theatre and Dance in the College of Liberal Arts, who’s preparing to welcome 1,000-plus high schoolers to Tucker Theatre for the annual Tennessee Thespian Conference.

• Drs. Andrew Owusu and Kahler Stoneof the Department of Health and Human Performance in the College of Behavioral and Health Sciences, who share news about the university’s new master’s degree in public health.

• Their HHP colleague Dr. Bethany Wrye, who has the latest update on a great new collaboration with the Tennessee Air National Guard to connect their public-health professionals with MTSU students.
