January ‘Out of the Blue’ focuses on campus honor societies, leadership

Middle Tennessee State University’s “Out of the Blue” TV magazine show is looking for inspiration in the new year and in its January 2021 edition by focusing on campus honor societies and organizations and some of the leaders who comprise and serve them.

This month’s program, available to watch above, welcomes three of those leaders to learn about the work they and their organizations do at MTSU. Join us to hear from:

• Dr. Maria Bachman, a professor in the Department of English and the current president of the MTSU chapter of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.

Susan Lyons, coordinator of events and special programs for the University Honors College and the MTSU chapter coordinator for the Omicron Delta Kappa national leadership honor society.

Chelseah Moore, a senior finance major and the 2020-21 Student Government Association president.

You can watch “Out of the Blue,” with host Andrew Oppmann, anytime online and on Murfreesboro cable Channel 9 daily at 7 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and on NewsChannel5+ at 3:30 p.m. Sundays.

“Out of the Blue” also is available as iTunes and Google Play podcasts and on other cable outlets in Middle Tennessee, so check local listings.
