The June 2019 edition of the “Out of the Blue” television magazine show from Middle Tennessee State University, available to watch above, features conversations on MTSU’s new interactive media major, a local partnership that’s become the Sleep Research Consortium, and preparing students for an in-demand field with the Professional Selling Program. Join us to hear from:
• Dr. Stephanie Dean of the Department of Media Arts in the College of Media and Entertainment, who discusses the digital tools media students are mastering to engage audiences.
• Cynthia Chafin, associate director of the Center for Health and Human Services in the College of Behavioral and Health Sciences, who explains how MTSU and local specialists are learning more about how deeply humans need restful sleep for mental, emotional and physical functioning.
• Dr. Lucy Matthews of the Department of Marketing in the Jones College of Business, who discusses how the new Professional Selling Program is bringing faculty expertise in sales and management into an in-demand career field.
